Wine Tasting

The Winery at Versailles offers several ways of sampling our wines. The quick way, is to do a “sip” sample tasting. This wine tasting is done at the bar, and 5 “sips” are offered for $1. You may choose the 5 from our list. From time to time there may be specialty wines that are not available for this tasting.

The other choice is a “Flight” sampling. You choose 5 wines from our list and whether you want one ounce samples or two ounce samples. We fill 5 small sampling glasses with your choice and place them in a flight paddle. You will take this to a table and enjoy the samples at your leisure. The price for this sampling is $5 for the 1 oz samples or $10 for the 2 oz samples.

Either way, you will be given a wine list which describes the wines and lists them according to category. Our staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have concerning the wines.

Several times each year, we have more formal wine tastings, where the winemaker discusses certain wines and pairing with foods. These wine tastings also cover topics such as types of stemware, varieties, grapes, and Wine Tasting 101. Check our events list to see when we will offer the next one.

And if you already know your favorite wine, it can be purchased by the bottle or glass for consumption on premise. We have several seating areas indoors and one large outdoor patio.

With over 25 different varieties of Ohio wines, you can be sure we will have something for everyone.
